Our Team

Co-founders, Anthony Todd and Martin Lueck, set out to create a research-led business where people would feel excited coming to work in the morning. This ambition stands true and has attracted a team of highly specialised but diverse talents, all dedicated to a collegiate style of working that values results above individual egos.

Anthony Todd

Chief Executive Officer

Anthony co-founded Aspect in September 1997 and is the Chief Executive Officer. He chairs Aspect's Executive Board which determines Aspect's overall corporate and strategic direction. He chairs Aspect’s Investment Committee and takes board level responsibility for Risk Management.

Before establishing Aspect, Anthony worked at Adam, Harding and Lueck Limited (AHL), Mars & Co. and UBS. He holds a B.A. in Physics from Oxford University and an M.B.A. from INSEAD in France.

Martin Lueck

Research Director & President

Marty co-founded Aspect in September 1997 and is our Research Director. He oversees the Research Team responsible for generating and analysing fundamental research hypotheses for development of all Aspect’s investment programmes. Marty is also a member of Aspect’s Investment Committee. He currently serves on the Board of the National Futures Association and as Chair of the Oxford Physics Development Board.

Prior to founding Aspect, Marty was with Adam, Harding and Lueck Limited (AHL), which he co-founded in 1987 with Michael Adam and David Harding. At AHL, Marty was instrumental in developing AHL’s trading systems and approach to research as well as the proprietary software language that provided the platform for all of AHL’s product engineering and implementation. He holds an M.A. in Physics from Oxford University.

Kenneth Hope

Chief Operating Officer

Ken joined Aspect in February 2004 and is responsible for the company’s middle- and back-office platform as well as the Technology, Finance, Operational & Market Risk, Legal & Compliance and Organisational Development functions.

Ken joined Aspect from Credit Suisse First Boston International. He qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and he also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy from the University of Natal, South Africa.

Rosie Reynolds

Chief Commercial Officer

Rosie joined Aspect in May 2005 and was appointed to the Executive Board as Chief Commercial Officer in March 2018. Rosie is responsible for global business development and commercial strategy at Aspect and oversees the Sales, Investment Solutions, Investor Relations and Marketing functions. In her fifteen-year tenure at Aspect, Rosie has held various leadership roles across a number of functions within the Legal and Business Development Teams.

She has been serving on the Board of The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) council since September 2020.

Prior to joining Aspect, Rosie worked at Hogan Lovells from 2001 to 2005, qualifying as a corporate lawyer in 2003. She holds an LL.B (Honours) from Glasgow University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law (York).

Kevin Carter

Non-Executive Director

Kevin joined Aspect in December 2015 as a Non-Executive Director. His career as a non-executive director started nearly 10 years ago and he now holds a number of  positions including at JP Morgan American Investment Trust Plc, Newton Investment Management Limited and The Henderson Smaller Companies Investment.

His spent most of his career at Old Mutual in South Africa, UK and US. He also worked for Watson Wyatt and JP Morgan Securities.

Kevin has a PhD in Finance from the University of Cape Town, an M.B.A. from the Wits Graduate School of Business, Johannesburg and is a CFA charterholder.

"I would say apply to anything that sounds interesting! You’ll get the most out of the year if you’re somewhere you genuinely want to be. Also, make sure you utilise all the opportunities available to you throughout the year, whether that’s attending training sessions, networking events or just chatting to people in the office."
