Aspect Hosts London Software Craftsmanship Community

Aspect was pleased to once again host the London Software Craftsmanship Community (LSCC) for their Hands on Session on Thursday evening. The group last gathered at Aspect back in October.

The session focused on testing, a fundamental aspect of developing high-quality software. Attendees explored Property Based Testing, where assertions are made about high level logical properties that the code under test should fulfil. This enables thorough testing by generating a large number of random test cases intended to expose unconsidered scenarios. This included several exercises where the group aimed to produce properties that could be used to test various pieces of code within a time limit.
